From March 15th to 17th, Concord Academy will host a 3-day Virtual Hackathon through Devpost for high school students!
We'll begin at 9:30 am EST on Tuesday March 15th, and host various sessions throughout the day, and present projects at 7:00 pm on Thursday March 17th!
The theme of the event surrounds helping and integrating tech into local communities like school groups, clubs or other school services. Therefore, if teams want to reach out to groups in their own schools to create more personal projects or case studies, START REACHING OUT! If not, we will provide case studies for clubs in Concord Academy. We expect all code to be written between March 15th and 17th, however gathering data or any information necessary for the projects (photos, club goals, etc) is allowed prior to the event.
For people who have never participated in a hackathon before, this is a great first hackathon to join. We will host speakers, workshops, and socializing and brainstorming sessions to support you and your team on your journey to create something personal and unique.
Don’t have a team? Don’t worry! There will be socializing and idea exchanging periods for those who don’t have teams to create new connections!
Also, join our Discord server for live updates of events!
